Types of tyre

Pneumatic

With or without an inner tube, they absorb unevenness: the usual choice outdoors.

Solid superelastic

They cannot puncture and cope well outdoors and in environments with metal debris.

Polyurethane or rubber press-on tyres

For smooth indoor floors, on electric forklifts, stackers and pallet trucks.

Non-marking

They leave no marks on light-coloured floors: food, pharmaceuticals, clean logistics.

When to change them

  • When wear reaches the limit mark.
  • Cracks, chunks missing or deformation.
  • Vibration or loss of stability.

A worn tyre reduces stability and braking capacity: it is a safety issue.
